of the Fox River
Full name: Stephen Charles Foxxe. But nobody calls him that. Species: honestly, nobody knows. Part legend, part river magic, part comet energy. And that’s exactly the point.
The Origin Story
It Started With
a Comet
One night, not so long ago, a blazing comet tore across the sky above the Fox River. Right over St. Charles, it split into two streaks of light, one gold, one blue, spiraling down, down, down toward the water.
Then: a flash. A splash. A shimmer across the whole river.
And there he was. Smiling. Tail wagging. Eyes full of mischief, warmth, and just a little bit of mystery. Charlie didn’t come from anywhere else. He came from here. Which makes him the only mascot in the world who can say St. Charles isn’t his hometown. It’s his birthplace.
